The W. M. Keck Research Program supports basic science research projects that are distinctive and novel in their approach. UT OVPR staff will provide an overview of the program, including important internal and external deadlines, critical funder information, and strategies for successful proposals.
OVPR's Investigator Skill-Building events are designed and reserved for campus faculty and research staff with PI status only. Non-PI staff and students, while ineligible to register, are welcome to view materials in OVPR's resource library.

Today (5/5/2026), the Keck Foundation announced major changes to its annual grant cycle. Due to these updates, OVPR will cancel the 5/7/2026 virtual info session. The internal competition will be postponed until Fall 2026 to reflect Keck’s new application process. We will reschedule the info session in the fall to be in alignment with the new internal deadline.
